The Role
The Junior Accountant role is an exciting development opportunity offering exposure to business activities that enhance your skills and knowledge within a variety financial activities and housing management tasks and projects.
As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a vital role within the Finance team. You’ll provide high‑quality business information and support the business needs that help Trivallis in delivering robust systems of internal controls, timely accurate reporting and deliver value for money for our tenants & communities.
You will work closely with departments across the organisation including supporting the development, assets and housing teams, through monitoring & reporting expenditure, setting annual rent for tenants and as well as month-end and year-end activities.
About You
We're looking for someone who wants new challenges and to learn and development their skills within a finance team. They will be organised, meticulous to detail and methodical in their approach to meet the demands of the business.
You will have strong Excel skills as the ability to analyse large amounts of data is essential as well as having a good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management.
You will have a proven track record of working within a finance team, delivering financial data and problem solving. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and work collaboratively, proactively, and able to build strong relationships across departments, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement, efficiency, and value for money.
